Welcome to the North Allegheny Tiger Marching Band!

The NA Tiger Marching Band is an award-winning group of approximately 200 musicians and auxiliary performers.  Joining the Marching Band is a fun and rewarding activity that gives students opportunities to perform at school and in the community, as well as offers students the opportunity to travel and compete against other bands all while forming strong friendships and a lasting interest in music.

The North Allegheny Marching Band is comprised of Musicians in Grades 9 - 12, Majorettes, Dance Team, Colorguard, the Tiger Mascot, Banner Carriers, and student Band Managers.  Joining the marching band, particularly as a rising 9th grader, is a great way to get involved and make friends.

The Marching Band performs at all home and away Varsity Football Games, including playoff games.  Additionally, the Marching Band typically performs in the City of Pittsburgh Labor Day and Veterans Day Parades, as well as local neighborhood Halloween Parades.

The Marching Band travels to Kennywood annually in August for a day of fun and to march in one of the Kennywood Fall Fantasy Parades.  The Marching Band also typically takes an annual 3-4 day Spring trip where students perform and participate in adjudicated music festivals, competitions and/or clinics.  Recent trips have included the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade, Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Nashville, and Disney World.

The Marching Band begins with a two-week band camp at the senior high school in August.  Band Camp 2024 is scheduled for July 29 - August 2 and August 5 - 9, 2024.  Following Band Camp, the Marching Band rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3 PM to 5 PM during the football season.  The Band will also rehearse a few times in the spring to prepare for the spring trip and band adjudication.
