Fundraising for your Marching Band Fee and Spring Band Trip

The NADBP works hard to provide a variety of fundraising opportunities to families to help offset the cost of your student's marching band fee and the cost of the Spring Band Trip. Please read the fundraising opportunities below carefully.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Heather Miller at nadbp.executivevp@gmail.com.

Get a HEAD START on Fundraising for the 2027 Band Trip to Disney with Aramark

As you know, Pittsburgh is hosting the NFL Draft on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 23, 24 and 25.  We will have the opportunity to send people to work at the Draft and get a head start on their Disney trip fundraising. Here is what I know so far:

(1) Draft "shifts" will be 9am - 5pm and 4pm - midnight each day of the draft.

(2) Aramark concession stands will be located on the main level of the stadium (I think this means the Great Hall) and numerous pop-up stands outside and around the Draft Stage.  Aramark is not running or staffing any concession stands in Point State Park

(3) All Aramark Fundraising participants must be 18.  Current NA Students who are 18 are NOT PERMITTED to skip school to work daytime shifts, but are permitted to work evening and Saturday shifts, subject to completing the proper credentialing.

(4) If you have people who don't need fundraising credit, are graduating, etc., but are willing to donate their fundraising credit to the band or to another band student just to get a chance to be closer to the Draft, we welcome their participation.

(5) I need to submit ALL NAMES of people who MAY want to participate in this fundraising opportunity, together with their completed RAMP Training certificate to Aramark no later than March 20th.  This doesn't lock anyone in to working and there might be a tiny bit of wiggle room for us to add additional participants between 3/20 and the Draft dates, but if people want to work I need their names and their RAMP certificate by 3/20.

(6) In order to submit names to Aramark for credentials I need the following information:  Full Legal Name, Address, Email Address (must be unique to each participant), date of birth, and cell phone number. Please use this link to submit your information for Aramark credentials:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeWLHJS0U2Zv728e-LUjQ4KwocrHWwMC3Fc7eCvfCKxYKPyIA/viewform?usp=header

(7) There will likely be a secondary credentialing process that everyone who wants to work needs to complete.  It will most likely be uploading a quick selfie through the NFL Security Credential system which takes about 3 minutes, but I am waiting on additional direction at this time.

(8) I do not yet have information about the payout, but I'm guessing it will be attractive.  Additionally, I know that when Aramark staffed the Golf Tournament at Oakmont last Summer groups were able to get credit card tips which I understand proved to be very lucrative. More information to come.

(9) RAMP Training certificates must be current within 2 years, so the date on participants' RAMP certificates must be no older than April 23, 2024. Info and link are below. If you participated in Aramark fundraising last Fall, your RAMP certificate will still be on file and should still be current.

Online RAMP Training:  All Aramark participants must complete the PA Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) in order to participate.  RAMP training from the state is available online for $8.95 and takes about 2 hours to complete.

Please use the License ID 48288 when prompted and send a copy of your completed RAMP training certificate to NADBP.Aramark@gmail.com.
